In a betting account? I don't have that much yet, but should I just withdraw if it hits that? I don't think I would feel comfortable

Depends on where. If you're with an A rated sportsbook 1K is peanuts.

Dog is right A rated books you have virtually no worries. It also depends on what 1k is to you in your life.

I feel uncomfortable with more than 10k.

Less than 1k and we've got a problem.

When I get over $2500, I do a withdraw to get it under $2000. To a U.S. player, there is no A rated books. Our money can be smoke the next day when we try to sign in to any book.

The amount depends on how much would hurt you to lose.

If $1000 gone would make you feel like utter crap, then maybe that is a good book limit for you.

At the other end, I don't think it's too sharp to hold enough money in a book that you think might hurt them if you wanted all of it out immediately. That might be a LOT for the bigger books of course.

If I win, that puts my roll just over 1K. If I lose, I lose it all, and I will never post here again.

I am not comfortable with more than 3k offshore therefore I keep it under that.

How much is a LOT would you say? And I mean A rated bookies only.

I was thinking a few hundred thousand maybe. Possibly more. At a fully regulated big international book I mean. Nothing that services the USA.

Maybe a big US bettor could comment on them.

Ive had 5 figures in Pinny at different times, never felt uncomfortable.

Had the same situation at Bet365 and was more nervous. They gave me a hard time when I tried to withdraw a large amount, smaller withdrawals they never said shit.

I never worry about it. If it's gone tomorrow... it's gone. But keep your $ in solid books. Not sh#$head books.
