Suns an astounding 22-7 ATS.

I'd actually fade the Suns. Blazers started out out ATS (18-6) first 24 games. They are 0-7 ATS last 7 games. Teams get inflated spreads and cant cover them. I think this same thing will happen with the Suns.

Good point, impressive job. As opposed to Kidd who came right in, Hornacek got some experience coaching to get his shot and looking good. Learning from Jerry Sloan doesn't hurt.

Vegas opened them at 21.5 wins I think. Dropped to like 19.5 when they traded Gortat.

Hard to say yet if they're legit or not. They went 2-1 against the Blazers (could have easily been 3-0), then went 0-2 on a home-and-home with the Kings (both pretty decisive losses). They won a close game against the Warriors, but got blown out pretty badly in their second meeting. They have had a pretty easy schedule so far though, but after an easy January it'll get much harder.

If anything, this game will get other teams to stop overlooking them.

I bit on that total big time. Thought they were gonna be the worst team in the league(worst than Philly) and win 15 games max. glad to know that wager will be graded as a loss within the next week or so.

They can't beat good teams in a series, so it depends on what you mean by legit.

Do they have a fun team, some nice pieces and a bright future? Sure.

Nothing more than a good story and a fun team to watch this year.

I fukked up on this one. I was sitting there telling everyone once they traded Gortat that the Suns wouldn't be terrible, yet I failed to put money on it.

Pretty crazy. Local radio was talking about how fans should root for them to lose for draft picks at the start of the season. Then 20 games in it was like, well root for them to make the playoffs. Even the whole "Ignite the Future" marketing campaign was all targeted towards rebuilding the team.

Have you guys noticed how bad Minnesota is down the stretch in close games? Holy hell, they have no idea what they're doing in the last minute. Just pathetic. I don't remember them winning one close game all season long.
