It's an excellent purse. I think it's awesome that SBR has added 55k in points on their own. I'm holding out hope for 200k but don't want to get too greedy

I just checked last years thread, and there ended up beings total of 54 teams in last years contest.

75 is just way too many teams, sure hope it doesn't get that damn high

Had we not excluded the first few garbage bowl games, the pot would've closed at 95k betpoints, not 145,000+ (and growing).

Fortunately we advertised the exact same deadline from day one, which it seems everyone but you understands, even if they disagree. But it'd be hard to disagree looking at how the pot is swelling up, less of course you're playing for funsies and not to win. =)

Take your scrolling finger and place it on the bottom grey scroll bar, slide finger up and/or across your ipad. It takes a while but works.

I gave you props in the contest thread because it surely worked out well this time. Although I'm not so sure you wouldn't have seen a similar run up before the deadline had it been at any other time.

Anyway, I completely understand the exclusion. Only thing that irked me was that you and your colleagues did not seem to acknowledge that nowhere did you make it clear the first games wouldn't be included. And that when I asked for a refund, at first I was ignored, and then absolutely 0 urgency given to something, that if you asked other posters, was a cut and dry decision. And you have yet to acknowledge that you MIGHT have made a mistake.

I was quiet about it for two days, when advised to make a thread by a fellow poster to get it resolved, I decided against it.

I kept quiet until I received your wise-ass response after I went out of my way to tell you I no longer needed the refund (which wouldn't have been returned anyway) and wished you a happy holiday and a good vacation.

It's just a Google Doc iFrame, maybe some devices or configurations don't like it. This spreadsheet is just a convenience for you to see all picks per entry until the scoring updates are posted.

I loaded a different browser and it worked. Firefox doesn't like it for some reason...maybe missing a plug in or something

Again, this is simply not true. People just waited until immediately prior to the deadline, had the deadline been earlier they would have submitted their points and entries earlier. Also, the first few "garbage bowl games" feature many better teams than those playing over the next week. They don't start at the worst games and work their way up other than the very best games over the last few days.

While I mostly agree with this, the weekend gives many people a chance to get it their picks together and find "teams". We're all playing from the same pool. Gotta cut the entry off somewhere.

It works with the page down or the dial on your mouse. We really need to pull our head out and develop some friendly software to manage this event. This will be the last time you see a contest run in this half ass style.
