NJ should be 100X better playing poker online than Nevada.
Nevada was a huge flop.
Basically non-existent already.
No action whatsoever since day 1.
Sweeper get me a couch ready.

Why would you? Most play online for tournaments, not Cash game. To run successful tournaments you need volume. If 5% of the states population signed up for the website the tournament numbers would still be small. NJ has much more people.

It will never be big period unless legal states co mingle players
Not enough demand for poker in each state

What did you expect? It's New Jersey, the armpit of the East Coast. Combined state IQ is 37.

Does Ceasars have the best comp program ever. I've asked my friends this and they always seem to think I'm lying. I've been to the World Series of poker 3 times. First time I stayed at the Excalibur but spent all my time at The Rio. Played a few $1500 events and some $100 blackjack here and there. I walked away with a gold tier(this is lowest tier) and 387 tier points( you need 5,000 to go up to next tier). Even with my tier score being so low I've never paid for a night in a Ceasar's property ever again. Not in Vegas or Tahoe. I book multiple 5 night stays absolutely free. My friend that also goes with me gets the same perks. I no others that play more often than me and have a higher tier score that always have to pay. I don't quite get it. In any other casino the lowest level of card doesn't even give you a discount. I can book like 20 five night stays a year at the Rio for free through weekends, holidays, it doesn't matter. Why would you even need diamond status other than cutting the lines?

Easy, born and raised there.
Now, if you are talking Pulaski Skyway area, by the Holland Tunnel, industrial area, yeah, it's stinky.
Jersey City is too populated, Newark too.
Now, the state is what I call a split state.
North is densely populated, a lot of industry.
South however, has some of the best, most breathtaking beaches on the entire seaboard.
Long Beach Island, Ship Bottom area, is one of the most desirable beach front property on the east coast.
To the west of the shore, inland, some of the nations best vegetables are grown.
New Jersey (look it up) is the eggplant capital of the world.
Tomato's are amazing.
There's a reason why they call it the Garden State.
NJ is also known as the checkerboard state, because from a plane, the farming region looks like a checkerboard.
Sure, Camden is a ghetto, Newark as well, but in Alpine, Short Hills, Watchung, some of the nations most expensive mansions can be found.

ive had the offers but not used them (im diamond almost level 2) airfare and room to new orleans tahoe and kansas city for 5 days. i get taken care of pretty well but ive donated a good chunk of money to them this year. but overall it pays to be a rewards member because of all the properties they have

Yea I always just have my friend give me one of his diamond cards. I just flash it to go to front of registration lines and buffet lines.

Always liked NJ.
Very, very similar to Rhode Island... both have plenty of very poor areas, but the coastline in both states are 2 of the nicest areas in the country.
