Stanford is a classic over reaction bet this week.
Stanford is not as good on the road. Coming off a huge
win vs Oregon ... this is a real bad spot for Stanford

I have no idea what happened vs. Utah but Stanford might have the third best team in the country. They will beat up the Trojans on defense, just a question of putting up enough points vs. a quality USC defense. I think Stanford wins out over the rest of their schedule.

I've been to the Rose Bowl and would agree it is a big home advantage. Some of it has to do with the team. Typically this team of prima donnas played unevenly on the road but kicked it up in high gear at home. The revenge game with Washington comes to mind where they won 70-7 after losing to the same team on the road.
But its different now. USC may still play their best at home but they no longer have a significant talent advantage. Stanford had their Or St game already. I don't think they look past this one. This is not Cal where USC will be running back every punt for TD's. And USC's run defense is highly suspect. For me the X's and O's point to Standford grinding it out and USC having very little success on offense. Stanford beat UCLA 24-10 and nearly shut out Oregon. 3.5 is not enough.

example you get posting points from warrior or deuce
most likely covered in all kinds of donut jelly, cheetos dust and cupcake icing
tatters we could clean up mang!
he does not know but warrior's "chat crew" told me it looks like he's been brushing his teeth with a snickers bar

No.
Stanford D will throttle Trojan O. Respect for Orgeron, but cookies and burgers won't get it done vs trees.
Nothing scary about that place, but the neighborhood.

What continues to amaze me are the soft college football lines that leads to a public orgy week after week after week.
3.5 here? Really? Now in any other sport, you'd get buried taking the -3.5 because the line is set to crush people who think the superior team in Stanford is free money. But in college football, it actually is free money. Top-10 teams cover ATS like Vegas is a public ATM machine.

I see your point Coins but this USC team has some NFL caliber talent. I dont think there is much chance that USC gets blown out .
you are correct though a ton of favorites have been covering the number. Mainly home favorites though
The one that looks to be the easiest is Auburn -4 over Georgia.. that line seems incredibly soft for Auburn at home against a Georgia team with an awful defense...
and the public is all over that one but chances are it will cash too

2 of the biggest money makers for me are fading Purdue and fading California every week
take a look at Colorado -3 and Penn State -21.5 both will cash
also Ohio state -32 is easy @ illinois

I guess it all depends on what hostile environment is to a person. Places like LSU and Oregon, are places I consider hostile, where the crowd is constantly in a frenzy with so much emotion, that it can change a game.

Maybe the enviorment there has changed post Pete Carol era but i was there for an ohio state vs southern cal game Terelle Pryors freshman year and it was pretty intense.
I have also been to LSU and Ohio State and South Carolina and Penn State for games...
out of all those LSU is def the most intimidating for visiting teams/fans
The LA Colesium is in a rough area though with a bunch of King Mayans in attendance

Stanford is made to take apart spread offenses. I think they'd beat FSU or OSU and crush Baylor. Alabama will do the same, as they are very similar, except Bama has even better skill players than Furd.
Utah is built similar to Stanford, without the high end skill players. They ran into their own blueprint, and on the road in a bad spot.
