I love the under 74 in the Oklahoma / Baylor tilt tonight.
I am not dismissing the offensive powers of both teams, but what most are missing is the fact that both these teams have elite defenses, not good defenses, but elite.
Both are top ten in the nation in total defense, (well #10 and #11 if you want to get technical).
Public is getting brainwashed as to how potent these two teams are on offense, but both squads are equally as good on defense.
I'm not going to get long winded here, this is my reasoning for my strong opinion on the under.
Good defenses will always neutralize good offense, if not beat them.
74 is a gigantic number to bet over with these two defenses.
Nobody is saying both teams won't get some, the absolutely will, but there will be three and outs tonight, there will be one first down, 7 play, drive stalled and punt series tonight.
Yes, there will be scoring, but I don't see 74 total.
If one is expecting a 41-35 game here, I think one is in for a rude awakening.
I don't even think the 74 will be in jeopardy tonight.
To get to 74, you are going to need a minimum of 8 TD's, that is not happening
Baylor gets this, in a good one, 31-27
