Family is the ultimate.. This us why I am afraid of what's going to happen.. Not going to lie, I have had some ups and downs. The downs have been pretty bad... I have put the wife in some bad spots and she always stuck by me. I just think that the trust is going to be gone after this blunder and i might lose what I have family wise. I don't understand how I can do this to her... I def need help, I just want to stop doing this every so often...

Looks like he thinks there is a distinct possibility he'll lose both. As much as the rush of gambling gives me (I flew to Vegas twice in two weeks to bet on weekday football matchups these last two weeks) I love having the money even more.

Thankfully I don't bet large amounts. My max bet is like $60, and all of my money is set aside by my wife as "allowance for betting" lol!

Have wife delete sbr change all offshores site passwords and disable accounts. If you have a local, have wife call in and have you banned.Pick up a new hobby that involves the family....bowling, movies, something. This is how you earn the trust back dreamer. Have to be willing to stick to no gambling or this is all pointless.

I am actually right now sending emails to my books asking them to close my accounts. I know that I am going to have to stop coming on this site and the other forums I goof around on.... Not really a pitty post and not looking for anything other than a place to vent as I am closing all my accounts out. Years ago I started going to a meeting and I stopped, I thought it was ridiculous and I could handle it myself. Its obviously not the case and I do really need help from elsewhere. I am the only one to blame here. I am sure that if somehow she sticks with me again, I am prob going to have to make drastic changes. For instance changing my phone as to lose the internet and misc changes that I am aire I will need to make.

We are all in this together, and while I knowa lot of ragging ggoes in here, you guys for the mist part do understand.

Gaming is actually pointless, you need to sit down and really think about it. You're fighting for more money when you can actually earn more money with a constant income and investments.
My investments earn more than gambling and I win quite a bit gambling(I bet small amounts).
These large casinos don't exist because everyone wins, when losing you should always know when to step away! I've gotten in a heated argument with a pit boss in Vegas because I left a table after betting only 4 turns on a roulette table and I was up a good sum of cash!

I thought everyone on SBR was disciplined and kept a running spreadsheet for 3 years to prove they are a boss and not air betting.

Back on topic - Dream it is sad to hear/read these stories. Be honest with her, tell her you can't stop it on your own and you need help. If she decides its too much you can still man up and get yourself together. Hard road but you can do it. Take care

Today was about $700. It's not the money here, its about the trust that my wife will lose. I have lost much more and had us in a bad way, honestly she would have a problem if I lost $100 with what I have put her through years ago. I have won a bunch in th past also, however its a trust issus that's going to be a problem here.
