A-Rod Story Really Starting To Explode
This guy has to admit he did it or he is ruined forever, no hall, nothing. I say he never admits it.

It's unfortunate, many considered the guy the best of all time.

Why is everyone surprised that his name has come up? Get real. ARod is a natural cheater. Remember 50+ home runs has NEVER been a normal season in the MLB, it is for this guy. Shake yourselves.

He is history. Everyone that played for the Yankees in the last 10 years will never get in the HOF. Too many steroid users and cheaters in the clubhouse.

          who the **** really cares?

i'd rather watch a league full of juiced players that are amazing at what they do, then a league that is clean but has the leader in HR's at 30.

don't forget that A-ROD would have been facing a lot of pitchers that were juiced also. really, who gives a **** about that stuff?

Bonds still the best ever in my book.

He won't even cop to yelling "Got it!" against the Blue Jays, even tho they caught him on camera.

He's the worst sportsmanship and even worse human being.

I agree, and sometimes I think this to myself. If entertaining baseball is 102mph fastballs and guys ripping the ball 550 yards why not just allow them all to juice?

I don't care who used. They have done a good enough job cleaning the sport up, and let the past be the past.

MLB allowed this to happen as they watched their profits soar. Then instead of taking responsibility they threw their players under the bus all in an effort to keep a pure image, gimme a break. There's always been cheating in baseball, back to the early 1900's but somehow this is such a travesty in the HOF'ers eyes where the public don't give a chit.

imo, there are only 3 power hitters in the league that i would be shocked/disapointed in if they were caught with roids: Ryan howard, Vlad and pujols

I say let them all juiced. Then every player can hit a homerun out of the ball park and we don't see any defense. Then we can all sit outside the ballpark without paying for tickets and collect all the baseballs. Games would have football scores like 28-24 and everyone will be happy. Isn't this what baseball is all about? More scoring is fan with all juiced players. Right?

steroids are much more widespread than people would like to admit. and they aren't something u shoot up every morning or something.

you go through 3 or 4 week cycles, take proper supplements after ur cycle (to prevent hormone damage/imbalances) and that's it.

so probably most mlb players have taken some at some point, gained 10lbs of muscle + lots of power in a cycle and then stopped using it for a while.

I don't like the "let them all juice" argument at all.

Steroids have very negative effects on the body, and many steroid takers end up dying a lot younger than average life expectancy.

If you encourage turning a blind eye to steroid use, you basically FORCE young players to take steroids. The kid who loves the game, works hard, and has natural talent will get trumped by the talented kid on performance-enhancing drugs every single time.

Crazy to think of how many great young players with morals and concerns for their health during the steroid era probably never even got a shot in the bigs because they were outmatched under the circumstances.

MLB didn't have a steroid policy in place before 2004. Shame on them

Same as olympic sprinting for the last 30 years. Someone wins gold, 5/10 years later we discover they're a cheat. Pretty much the entire elite of spirinting for that period has been caught at it.

Not too surprised about ARod though, he really has the classic physique of someone on roids.

Unfair to say everyone's doing it when out of the 1,198 players tested in 2003, only 104 (8.68%) tested positive.

It's like they are all guilty until proven innocent which is very unfair to players that do it the right way.

This is why all the cheats need to be exposed so the clean players can see some justice, on and off the field.

I guess you knuckleheads out there were ok with a more destructive drug than steroids. Evidently, you knuckleheads are ok with cocaine but not with steroids. Listen, wake up and smell the coffee folks, you are about two or three decades too late. Shame on you for being so ignorant and making the owners rich who, along with MLB union, are at the root of the problem. The players have always been the pawns in this big ugly game of Mega-Bucks baseball. Now twenty or thirty years later you guys are stunned and suprised. What an unmitigated and unabashed joke, so A-roid has tested postive, whoopdie doo, the numbers are not comparable to other eras anyway when guys played in the dead ball era with huge stadiums, a heavier ball, and far fewer teams. The game has been watered down for a long time folks. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AND WHILE YOU ARE AT IT PINCH YOURSELF WITH A SYRINGE SO YOU CAN FEEL LIKE YOU ARE ONE OF THE GUYS.
