Does anyone actually think Atlanta has a schedule where they can lose 42 games? Look at their November schedule - it's a joke. They can easily start off 12-6 or something then if you feel less confident about their chances in December you can take the under at plus odds at that time.

There are only 5 teams in the east that have a decent shot at 50+ wins this season, and a whole pile which will be under 30. The teams in between - Hawks, Raptors, Cavs, Pistons and maybe the Wizards (not sold on them) will be very hard pressed not to outperform their number. Not because they're good, but because they face so much trash.

Nets under - they have good team but they will be resting majority of players late in season
rockets under - same reasoning as lakers last year style of play will change because of Howard and I'm predicting with hack o Howard when's its real close he will struggle giving results to opposing teams

Take your entire betting bankroll reserved for NBA over under season totals and place it on the Lakers under 36 1/2. When "dynasty" teams like this finally fall apart, they fall completely apart and its possible the Lakers only win 20 games this year. The 36 1/2 season win total is totally inflated.
