I chase far too often. Especially in the Casino. Been known to send a runner to an ATM while I sit at the tables getting pounded.
Few years ago at the Wynn, I sat down at the goddamned WAR table while my wench went to piss. Lost the first 8 hands, in war. My brain kept telling me that this is a no-brained 50/50 game. Meaning, it should even itself out. Ended up winning the next hand, and lost another 4 or 5 after that. Meaning WAR (The dumbest fukkin' casino game I've ever played) just happened to "randomly" go 1-12 against me. Spent the rest of the morning chasing those losses on three card poker and got absolutely berried.

i think it's human nature to tilt and chase.
everyone does it. (books and casinos know this.)
it's how you minimize that tilt and chase.
you have to be in the game to win.
