Sabermatricians will say there's no such thing. They laugh at the idea of pressure playing a role in Cleveland's performance tonight.

Pressure is not a quantifiable - it's abstract, but if you've ever competed in your life you know it is real.

Lol I remember Mark Cuban tried to argue that there's no such thing. Exhibit A of never having played a sport.

Pressure is real. Let's see which teams thrive on it this postseason.

I don't think anyone has ever denied the effect and influence of pressure.

You might be confusing pressure with "clutch".

Pressure should never be confused with the ability to handle it.

          Only one is quantifiable.

you dont feel pressure before speaking in front of an auditorium full of people?

you dont feel pressure before a driving exam at dmv?

you dont feel pressure before asking the hottest girl at school out on a date?

you dont have to play sports to understand pressure, dumbass.

ive competed in team and individual sports growing up and i never felt more pressure if the event was bigger. the pressure was all the same. but once competition begins, you forget about the pressure and winning/losing comes down to your preparation, concentration and talent not who was feeling more pressure.

                btw, another retarded thread.

                  as others have said.

think everyone will agree there is pressure/anxiety.

                      this.

and why would indians feel pressure?

nobody expected them to make the playoffs. They had a successful season by Cleveland Standards.

Want to know who the pressure is on?

                      Dodgers and Red Sox.
