Well here is another story that illustrates just how utterly arrogant and spoiled scUM alumni and fans are.
As many of you know, I live in Wisconsin but am from Michigan, grew up there and went to MSU for undergrad. There is this huge misconception that somehow MSU is less of a school than scUM b/c there football team isn't as good. Unfortunately the sad truth is, and scUM fans hate to amdit this, that both schools are equally good acadmic institutions. Each has its strong points and weak points and in the end it's about even. But most scUM fans can not come to terms with such a conclusion as they insist that somehow they are superiour b/c US News ranks them higher...and if anyone has half a brain they know those rankings are not worth the paper they are printed on.
Anyway, so I am downtown in Madison and I stop by the local party store to grab a red bull b/c I had to lecture in front of a 100 people and I try to be loose before a big lecture. Sure enough there is a guy/scrub wearing a Michigan t-shirt and a Tigers hat. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that this guy is from Michigan. I mention that I am from Michigan and that I went to State and jokingly I comment about the game this past weekend in such a way as to congratulate him. Sure enough he starts talking about how MSU is a "jv" school and all this other BS and that how scUM runs them in everything and how scUM runs the world. This guy, almost oblivious to the past decade in college basketball between the two schools, goes on and on about how great Ann Arbor is and how great scUM is.
I mean grow the **** up dude. What is he trying to prove? By the looks of things, this guy could barely afford the can of coke in his hands. I wish the government would "accidently" bomb Ann Arbor and remove it from the map once and for all. You may say this guy is just one person...not all think like that. True, but let me tell you, this guy is the rule, not the exception. And let me tell you about how ugly the girls are in Ann Arbor. I mean some of the girls i have seen from there make me want to vomit.
Anyone who is from Michigan knows what I am talking about how people in that state are brainwashed when they are young to think that scUM is the greatest thing on earth. The greatest thing that ever happened to me is that I didn't go there and that I didn't turn out to be some conceited prick who gets an erection talking about my school.
