Nobody is saying turn him into a pure pocket passer, but RG3 has to have those 2 torn knees in his mind in the last 4 years. The Redskins coaching staff doesn't want their star QB to get hit a lot. Run out of bounds, Slide when the play is over.

The problem is that Rg3's stats are inflated after last year with all those runs.

If he had no legs, if he was Byron Leftwich my point is that he's not that great of a passer. His legs are what makes him. If the guy has a bum leg you might as well start Kirk Cousins.

He's 22, the league wants black QB's to succeed, he's not a gang banger, but he still talks too much. He gets too cute with the media and says too much and talks too often.
