    Alabama / Texas A&M Under 60.5 -102
At 5 Dimes. I like this better than either side, remember that Johnny Foots had a big first quarter last year with Alabama having a slow start after playing at LSU the week before. Tide won't allow that to happen again, defense will come to play throughout. Bama offense is not as good as last year though, offensive line has not looked good. Enormous number here me thinks. And I know there is 61 out there, but the -102 makes 60.5 worth it on a total this big less likely to push the 61.

I'm on the Under 61. A&M had a great game ly vs this Bama defense. I agree Bama is better prepared for them this year. The Bama rushing attack was incredible last year but so far we haven't seem them dominate. I like this game to played a little closer to the vest than an O/U of 61 would indicate.

Couple of things: I am still not convinced Bama CAN run up the score just because it wants to. Even that aside, Saban tends to run a lot with big leads anyway (IF they get big lead). Second, Saban has had two weeks to prepare defense, so not a given that Johnny has his usual game.

This total screams shoot-out to me. Bama not gonna stop Manziel the whole game.

I like the under as well LT, but I think 'Bama is a safer play. Saban may be an egomaniac, but the guy is the best in the biz, and there's no way what happened last time is happening again. I have total faith there'll be a game plan that limits or even shuts down what Manziel wants to do.

I thought it was interesting how the high total was since Saban defenses routinely ranks in the top ten. I use the BetLabs coaches filter to see how Saban does in games with high total. In fact, since 2007 Alabama has played in just 20 games in which the total was at least 50, with a record of just 7-13 in those contests. Saturday’s total of 62 is the highest of any Alabama game during the Nick Saban era.

I'm so tempted to pound a teaser with Bama -2 and under 70.5

How about this 3 team 10pt teaser:

                              Alabama +2.5

                              Alablama under 74.5
