I'm "All In" With The Diamondbacks Tonight -147

I like how the starters match up. Miley has averaged 7 innings a start the last month. Redmond about 5 innings. BABIP (Batting Average With Balls In Play) against Miley is only .269 with 58.3% of his batters hitting ground balls. BABIP against Redmond is .333. Redmond has struggled on the road, going 0-1 with a 7.41 ERA in four starts while giving up 25 hits and walking six over 17 innings.

Bullpens are about even over the last 2 weeks.

Hitting looks good for the D'Backs also. I know they have only scored 8 runs in the last 5 games, but they have still outhit the Blue Jays over the last week (54-42). BABIP D'Backs are ahead .325-.270. Batting average .273-.228. OBP .356-.285. Throw in the fact that there is no DH, and that favors Arizona a little more.

I would consider the run line, but Redmond can strike batters out, and that could potentially kill some high scoring rallies Nonetheless I feel pretty secure taking Arizona tonight.

Other than Jerm, no one seems to get away it.

Let's not act as if Jerm has never posted a loser in a "free money" thread, but he certainly seems to win a high percentage of those posted plays. The rest of us, however, might be batting .000 when we post those dreaded threads that include "guaranteed winner" or "all in" or "free money" in the title.
