I think this is one of the games on the main NBC network. I would say its a pretty big deal to have EPL games nationally televised in the states, I gotta imagine its the first league game any of the big European leagues have had televised nationally here but could be wrong. Obviously that excludes any competitions like Champions League.Comment -

Premier League Extra Time Package (Overflow channels to carry games not on the SportsNet; similar to what ESPN does during college football. Being offered free to cable/satellite providers to pass on to customers who have NBC SportNet. Whether your provider passes it along is up to them)

It's just because it's first game of the season so teams can be rusty. Also there was the mid-week internationals so many Man U players were involved in that and sometimes players come back tired from playing and travelling and look sluggish. Man Utd have also failed to improve their team from last year aside from signing Zaha, but they will still struggle to keep clean sheets and lack depth in quality in midfieldComment -
