Betting the under in the CWS/Mariners game last week would be up there.
0-0 through 13, and the game goes over in the 14th.

                    A mere second?

I have that beat. Lost two parlays due to the Coyotes scoring with 00.1 seconds on the clock. Had the under 5.5 goals in the Islanders/Yotes game. Had it parlayed with an under in a Wild game that had already cashed and a separate parlay with another under in a NHL game that had already cashed. The Coyotes were averaging something like a little over 2 goals their last several home games and I thought the under 5.5 was a gift. The only reason Shane Doan was on the ice was to try and score his 1st career hat trick. At the time, he had the NHL record for the most 2 goal games without scoring a hat trick (38, 2 goal games). The Coyotes spent the last 4 minutes trying to get him his hat trick. I think he was being double and triple shifted during the final period.

Look where the puck is with 5 seconds left and ask me if I thought I was going to cash my bets. Unreal.

Iona basketball game this year was pretty bad.
4 point favorites up 8 with like 3 seconds left, the other team takes an uncontested 3 and drains it with like a second left, Iona's fans storm the court thinking game is over. Technical foul is called, dude makes both free throws, Iona wins by 3, game over.

First bet I ever made was a 3 game teaser. Hit the first two legs and had the Dolphins game over 24. The score at halftime was 23-0. The fukkin game ended 23-0. Should have quit there

I've got one, doesn't even come close to Niño's, however its not bad.

3-4 years ago, regular season NBA game Bulls v Rockets, can't remember why I liked this play so much but had a really really large bet on the Rockets m/l. Anyway the Rockets are cruising up 25 or 26 points with less than 5 minutes left in the 4th and the Bulls start going on this crazy run. I wasn't worried of course because who the hell can come back from a 25 odd point deficit with less than 5 minutes on the clock? Anyway suddenly there's less than a minute left and somehow the Bulls have pulled to within 6 and Yao fukcing Ming misses an uncontested wide open point blank lay-up, I mean the guys 9 fukcing feet tall and they paid him 15M a year, and at that point I realised the horror of the situation, that even though the Bulls were still down 6 with like 48 seconds left, they were going to win the game, and not only did they win, I'm pretty sure they ended up winning by 3 or 4 points. I will never forget that game until the day I die.

I enjoyed getting dicked over in the Duke/Cincy bowl game last year. 31-31 with 1:30 to go, Duke at the Cin 10. Fumble, 83yd TD pass, subsequent duke int returned for TD. Duke was +11, how the fukk do you lose a Cfb game like that?

Duke/Cincinnati bowl game last December is my worst ever beat. I had duke +10 or so. Games tied at 34 and duke has a first and goal with a minute and change to go. Duke fumbles and Cinci goes 95 yds in like 3 plays. Duke then throws a pick 6 to blow the cover.

An NBA total a few years ago. Magic vs Kings. It was a blowout & all I needed was 1 point to get over the hook & cash the over. The fukkers went scoreless in the last 2 minutes of the game to bury me. Always remember that one because it was the worst feeling in the world - first time I had lost a total by half a point.

I had under 190.5 in the spurs/lakers game, it was 190 with 10 or so seconds left, the players were about to start shaking hands but the spurs didn't advance the ball past half way, back court violation. lakers 3 pointer with 2 seconds left

Games tied at 34 and duke has a first and goal with a minute and change to go. Duke fumbles and Cinci goes 95 yds in like 3 plays. Duke then throws a pick 6 to blow the cover.
I am glad i can laugh at it now - i was on the same play and had a few bad beats that week. I remember it was just before or after Christmas - not much happening at work - i went to the bar with a mate and saw the final minute on TV - i was in queue for a drink thinking the only way this bet loses if something ridiculous happens then on cue it happened...i imagine it would be hard to get a worse beat in gridiron - not sure if there was even time left after the interception - but it was daylight to the end zone for the defender.
