Absolutely love it. I realized this year, that I was being foolish by not following this sport more. NBC sports does a great job covering it.

For years I was consciously ignorant about this sport. I really do believe their TV contract had a shit ton to do with that.

I only watched blackhawk games the few times I did tune in, and then obviously - they made a nice little run recently, but even then I wasn't that into it.

This year, absolutely glued. I was planning on betting a shit ton of NBA, but couldn't be bothered at this point - stopped watching completely after The Heat beat Chicago in game 3.

Hockey, is the only other sport this year (besides college basketball) I've been able to watch an entire game without any action on it. Absolutely impossible to do with NBA.

Playoff hockey beats anything else in sport in terms of excitement and intensity.
Overtime playoff hockey is incredible even as an impartial viewer.
Game 7 overtime....nothing can beat that! Just gripping to watch.

Team down 5, 2 minutes left, scores a field goal, game down to 3 now, time out, 3 commerecials, back to the game, team down 3 now fouls, team a head 3 goes to the line, game clock stopped, team ahead makes 1 of 2 from line, 4 point game, 1:49 left now, another time out, so far it's taken 5 minutes real time, to play 11 seconds basketball time. When it's all said and done, 20 + minutes to play 2 minutes.............

You are not a fan of the product, I get that, I love MLB, meaningful games late in the season to me is hardly boring.
I'll watch a pennant race game in September over say a week 2 NFL game featuring the Bucs against the Rams.

On top of being boring, MLB and NBA are a lot of EPL. Just a handful of teams/players trying to buy and/or load up for a championship. No competitive balance.
