Woke up late, was actually going to post a 2 pick thread today with King Felix and Peavy. Bet Felix early last night and I couldn't believe that line never moved. That was an honest STEAL of a price win or lose today.
This Chi-NY game could be ugly boys., but I like Peavy tonight.
I'm basically not impressed with Hefner so far. He's pitched well a few times but only against shitty offenses (Miami,Dodgers, then Miami again). His control hasn't been all that great. He walked 1 every 6 or 7 innings last year, this year he's walking one every 3 so far. The Mets hyped this kid up last year and I never saw it watching him.
Mets bullpen is the worst in MLB as well. I like the advantage here for the Sox. I honestly thought the price on Peavy was a steal here, but it looks like they aren't betting him hard at all.
Peavy had back spasms but has taken ample time to come back and should be 100%. He should dominate this horrid lineup tonight. I see goose eggs all night.
It's brutal taking teams that can't hit, but the Mets don't exactly blow the cover off the ball either.
The whitesux have struggled offensively this year, but I don't think they are as bad as their record so far.
It's been a rough 7 days in MLB for me, definitely cooled down after a hot start.
Time to get hot again!
