I bet when they come home excited about something you sit there in your shit stained skivy droors and tell them they're lame for thinking something is cool. #22Also, nice card but I think you overpaid a little bit.
Refractor (which you bought is probably worth double, maybe 2.5)

#24Ok a few things I'll add.
Don't pay for dual/triple autos for rookies. They are lower in value. Most collectors want TRUE RC cards, they look for higher end cards that are low in number. His bowman chrome refractor auto parallels like the gold and etc sell extremely well..
Even though that's #'d to 25, the Dual auto will look more frowned upon as more collectors will be willing to shell money on his true rookie autos.
Most of people here are correct, each year the market does get flooded with more Auto's although the last 2-3 years that hasn't been true. The card company simple can not afford to pay each stars and the Players Assocation the money to get thjem to sign so the veteran autographs in general has come down A LOT # wise, but there's still too muich flooding..
The # of veteran auto available out weight the want of the market by 3 fold
So collecting rookie cards are still not bad but veteran autos should be stayed away from..
The dual/triple autos even though is a rookie year, most collectors won't view it as true rookie card so it'll hurt you.
Also, if you want to get rookie autos, look for their ON CARD autos. More collectors favor the on card autos much more then the stickers that they put on.
Something like this would be a very good start for a Buster Posey Rookie card, maybe you can message the seller and offer him a lower price then that but just to give you an idea.

#32Cool card I collected as a kid in the 80's but don't have them any more. Most mine probably would not be worth nearly what they should be with the market crash on cards in general and the fact most of those 80's greats have tarnished images now. Had a '89 Griffey upper deck he was pure at least sure that would be worth a few bucks. But my gem I would LOVE to have now is my Jordan rookie Olympic card from '84!!Comment -

#33the topps rated rookie card or whatever is definitely worth more than that.
a topps regular edition unautographed buster is worth like 10 bucks right now. all of you laughing at him paying 175 for it are probably down more than that this month in sports betting. who cares what someone else spends their money on? not to mention, it's probably worth what he paid for it to collectors.
