That's not the final design. It's just some proposals. They haven't picked the design yet.

The "red ring" around the stadium is actually a ring of TV Screens. If they build it and it goes over well, it could be the start of a trend

why do nfl teams need a dome...

I'd like to see a stadium that looks more like the Roman Colosseum.. that'll invoke some fear to your opponents lol.

they will be retractable roof stadiums, making them easier to rent out during the other 357 days the team doesn't play there.

Cities like Atlanta and New Orleans use the football stadiums for conventions as well as to host basketball tourneys, concerts and other big events like rodeo, monster trucks, wrestling etc. So in order for the stadium to be paid off and at some point start making a profit they need to rent it throughout the year.

I guess being in new york just see it differently since we have so many different venues, but that makes a lot of sense,. just thought football teams don't need dome, and when they do rent it out, it'd be during warmer times but with rain and stuff that makes sense for different stuff during off season..

I still vote for more Colosseum look lol.

I'm from the A and this stadium looks legit. I hope it is the final design. People need to get with the times...it is all about the flash, bruh. Check out the Allianz Arena in Germany. A stadium with lights all around it that is clear/white when no game is going on, red when Bayern Munich is playing there, and blue when 1860 Munich is playing there.
