One night I took $500 to the LVH and filled out 100 $5 teaser cards for fun. From 6 to 15 teams.

Don't remember how many I hit but I got back $440 of my $500 so I lost $60 when all was said and done. I still have the losing slips in a backpack.

Worked valet at a strip casino between Tropicana Blvd and Flamingo Blvd. Not going to say which one. Problem is I still had lingering injuries from when I played college football in my groin and lower back. Had somewhat limited mobility and it grinded me down after a while. Eventually had a hard time keeping up. Valet in Las Vegas is a 24/7 job with little to no down time and a lot of physical activity. But it pays well, I just couldn't perform at the level I needed to perform at anymore without getting surgery.

Had connections at the Aria and they offered me a front desk job there but I turned it down. Even though the money would be good it would be boring as hell just standing there. Plus all my friends and family are in Texas. Sometimes its more than just money... Hence why I decided to move back to Texas to go back to graduate school, but decided to go teach/coach high school so I could pay off my student debt before doing that. Which is where I stand right now.
