#44Someone sent me a copy of "Death of the WCW" last week and I can't put it down. I haven't watched wrestling since around 2000 but that book is pretty interesting. If you watched wrestling in the 90's you have to read it. There's a Mick Foley documentary out there that follows him around that's pretty interesting too. He's sitting there pulling tacks and nails out of his skin with one of his teeth through the roof of his lip while his wife and children were crying beside him...that guy was insane.Comment -

Still was a profitable night though, due to the relatively small returns on the bets that one missed play on Ryback could have actually put me in the red for the night.
However, I managed to catch the Fandango opener and parlayed every single upcoming UFC bet with him for added value, I will likely end up in the black for WM by several hundred dollars by the time things are said and done.Comment -

#55Nope, McMahon was really keen on ryback up until a few months ago, seems like they are more or less done with him.

I just parlayed every bet for the next 2 months with Fandango -350, and on top of that threw on taker and HHH for a few extra bucks.
A fifty dollar limit on a -350 is not much, but when you can bet it multiple times in parlays it can add up to a ton of extra cash.Comment -

#58Dude, Fandango opened at -350, its a fifty dollar limit, but you can use him in multiple parlays.

#61ha that's fair enough, but the guy I was originally replying to was making out like the WWE and Vinc McMahon could make a killing by betting on the fights!!!! Can just imagine Vince McMahon instructing 50 beards to go and maxi-bet Fandango at -350 on 5dimes and throw it in a parlay with anything and everything so that he can finally make his millions!
Cant make this shit up!
Hell, if you could get unlimited bets on WWE events, I'd actually consider going to marketing school or whatever the hell they hire their talent from, getting a job with the WWE, and retiring 2 years later a millionaire.
God DAMN that would be sweet.
Still though, there is money to be made on these events. Had Ryback won I'd be up about six or seven hundred dollars, with him losing though that takes a huge cut from my profits, still will be up a couple hundred with Fandango though. Its worth following for a bit of extra cash, and given that I'm already a fan the few minutes of reading dirt sheets and exercising common sense does not hurt.Comment -
