OK, two medium plays for tomorrow....to be honest it becomes MUCH tougher at this point in a tourney....I don't have 32 matches to wade through and find my favourites, so I understand if not everyone tails here.

Nadal beat Ferrer by 4 games today and didn't play his best tennis, AND Ferrer is stronger on this surface than is Berdych. Berdych DID beat Djokovic, but in this case Djokovic didn't play his best after the first set and I think at worst Nadal gets his push here 7 times in 10.

Paire was in amazing form versus Chardy (a match I was wrong about). Unless Paire decides 'I did well enough by beating Djokovic and can relax now' I think he has an amazing shot to cover and possibly may even cover against Federer, who will be looking to conserve a little energy and should not be too worried about pushing himself here. He has proven that he is ready for the French and he may just relax a little.

Grimey, I did look at it and I lean under for sure, but not enough for me to bet it. As for the Memphis game, I am hoping the Spurs win Game 1 and I will probably bet Memphis for the series, but I want to see a game before I bet it at all.

Also....I want to say I wish there were some better opportunities the last couple of days.....the problem is that where we are in a lot of the series in the NHL and NBA....well, frankly I am just not seeing the value.

I did look back 90 days to the start of my first thread, and I am amazed at how many large plays I was making.....as my bank roll has grown in a lot of ways I have become more cautious.....I think the fact that the regular seasons are over in the winter sports has caused that, along with a better understanding of risk and BR management.....

I disagree here.....and the Dodgers are actually undervalued right now. Medlen has had no run support all year, ATL, since their hot start has been struggling and this game has way too many unknowns. While Capuano can suck he has also shown that he can get it done....

Again, just way too many variables to have a lean either way ESPECIALLY giving up a run AND $$$....

As for the Pirates game there is value there.....but not in the Pirates, the value is in Houston and Bedard. I almost threw $20 on it at +240 (IMO almost no team should ever be -260 in MLB, especially the Pirates).

I cap every game in every major sport....if I have not bet it, there is something about the game that has caused that. I always appreciate people posting their views on games that I have passed on though, and what everyone needs to remember, when talking about these games (great starter versus lesser starter, recent records, etc) all of that has been taken into account at the book when the line was set....when I pass on a game all I am saying is that long term, on that specific game, I do not believe there would be value there.

POINT: When I cap a game I do not ask myself if the Pens will win tonight, or will the Blue Jays go OVER....I ask myself this: 'if this game was played 100 times, what kind of results would I see?'....then I compare it to the line....if I would make money over 100 bets (beat the line) then I place the wager.....if I do not believe there is ENOUGH value there to be profitable long term, I leave it alone. I have bet 2000 games in the last 140 days (15 per day) and I never get caught up in a specific game or it's results (beyond a tiny bit of emotion during the game).....this is a long term play....

Lol that's pretty crazy man, I'm the complete opposite-I make major bank in college and give it back in NFL! I can't tell you how many times I'd make a killing on Sat only to lose half or sometimes all of it the very next day! I suppose it's because I grew up watching SEC football in the South, where football is practically a religion-and it only intensified once I went off to college. Maybe we can team up or something once football season starts and help each other out!
