Pitchers in spring training are not working on getting batters out the way they do in the season.. They are working on developing their arm strength and getting their mechanics down.. they probably throw 90% fastballs... thats why every batter in spring training hits .350+... U can't talk about a guy likr cj wilson and talk about spring training stats my man... ST stats are absolutely pointless

it's true not to put much emphasis on st stats, but i just think Latos has been a superior pitcher than Wilson over the second half of last season. Latos may not be a big name big contract guy, but he is LEGIT.

of course the Angels have more firepower, but i guess i'm just reluctant to take a line that looks that desirable.

Strasbutg gave up 27 hits and had an era of almost 5.00 in spring, then threw 7 scorless with 3 hits opening day
