It's losing steam because you guys make a million plays a day probably. And there are 3 of you.
Even if you happen to get hot, no one is going to tail 8 picks a day.
You gotta find one game, one value play, one steal everyday and hammer it. You have to have a reason why you are betting a game and at the same time make sure the price is right on your edge that you feel you have.
Some days there may be 2 or 3 games but not many. That's what makes a good MLB capper.
Anyone can pick 8 games and say they like them, but there is no edge playing half the board and laying -115 on totals.
Someone posting -115 on a coin flip total in MLB when you can find a game +130 instead, he's automatically never going to credibility to anyone who actually wants to make money and knows proper betting numbers. Baseball is a long, hard grind. You can beat it, just have to find value in what you're betting everyday.

I'm not hammering, but it's why the thread isn't working. Flooded with too many picks and you're not doing homework when taking lines.
I do check in to see if any fights are going on though lol.

I respect your honesty. If I recall you were hesitant on this thread from the get go. Big Nuts is right.. Find 1 unique play a day, throw in a small write up with confidence. It goes a long way. I wasn't trying to start a range war but change the presentation or its time to bail and free up some thread space boys.

I'll check in here occasionally, but I apparently suck at betting baseball, so I haven't been betting as much on it, plus life's been busy, hence why I rarely post in here.

Having this one thread does clear up space, Deemer's plays are going to end up being posted here at SBR somewhere, probably best to keep the majority of them in this thread. Don't give up Dugger, I think you are one of the few who actually gets followed by some here.

Alright, I'll try this one more time. I have foregone the strategy of betting all the games where I saw an edge and am back to betting the select few that I think are the absolute best on the day. After these games, I will update my record, which includes the past 2 times I made bets. I have been extremely busy the past week and a half or so, but school is over and I have a lot of free time at work these days. Here we go.

4 month summer internship... From day I got out of school to day I go back, have a week vacation with gf.. only week off.. 40-45 hours a week.. rough but good experience.

That's rough but definitely good in the long run. I'm dragging out the golf career as long as possible, gives me an excuse to not be able to work full time over the summer. Being a legend athletically growing up got me the good hookup at the park district, and gets me a $10 an hour job whenever I want to help coach/umpire some little league games. And part of it is volunteer, so colleges/employees lap that "giving back to the kids" shit up, lol.

Terrified of the day when I have to start working 40 hours a week.
