That's a number 2 seed the Huskies destroyed.
Huskies to yet another final four.
Setting up a fourth ND game maybe?

With Baylor out, anybodies guess now.

Really doesnt matter. His teams are ripe with the best talent in the game. If you do not have Griner or the ND pg you team is getting blown out.

Because every HS girl with any sort of talent wants to play for Geno's program. With the exception of Delaware's Elena Delle Donne, and that had nothing to do with Geno at all. Everybody wants to play for the most successful college sports team since the Wooden era UCLA men's basketball team. Fair or not, that's the way it is. This isn't the Steinbrenner Yankees where he can go out a buy players.

Nobody puts a gun to those girls heads an says "go to UConn or die"

Oh, Harbor Yard in Bridgeport isn't really a home game, the campus is like 2 hours north, Webster Bank Arena is really Fairfield's home court. UConn's home court is either on campus in Stoors, or XL center in Hartford.

That's how women's college ball seems to be. Blowout city.

yeah, there's only like 8, no more than 12 teams that are really relevant in NCAAW hoops.
The other 200 teams in women's hoops are practice squads, sitting ducks so to speak.

People only pay attention when it's Baylor v. Stanford, or UConn v. Tennessee, or ND v. a ranked team.

If you put on a NCAA college football game, say Tulsa v. Texas A&M, people will watch it.
Put on a Delaware (who's actually very good) v. Duke in women's hoops, you'll surf right by that game on the TV

Stevenash, what are the 8 teams that are really good? I mean this seriously, because while I know Geno's squads are always good and I know Tennessee with Summit was really good, and I figure a Griner-less Baylor won't be as dominant next year.

So I would appreciate it if you could tell me the 8 or so teams that you think are really good, because I would like to bet some on NCAA women's next year as well as men's. I've got a bet on ND tonight.

Duke, the women's teams are always good, not Coach K good, but the Lady Blue Devils are always good.
Stamford, always the best in the west.
Baylor will be back, but not as strong.
                  Penn State
Pat Summit retired, she has early Alzheimer. But the Vols always compete
Delaware's super girl Belle Donne is graduated, they are not relevant anymore.

National title game was a 33 point blowout. 93-60 UConn over Louisville. Unreal.
