Creighton is dead money LK.

I just don't see how Creighton plans to approach this game, no matter what kind of style they try and play, Duke is better at it.

Wouldn't be surprised if Florida goes into the half up 15. Minnesota = horrid offense.

I think its a good matchup. Duke plays nothing close to the defense that the Bluejays saw yesterday. They were able to beat Cincy at their own game. Today we will witness one of the more exciting games of the tournament. Up and down the court, lighting up the scoreboard. Duke has advantage down low but I don't think its as big as the talking heads about making it out to be.

McDermott is going to get his, but Echenique will battle Plumlee and Wragge should give them a lift off the bench. Chatman and Gibbs can also be contributors. This team is much more than just Doug McDermott. Also, the Bluejays simply don't miss Free Throws and that's always key to pulling an upset of this magnitude.

I think McDermott is going to work Ryan Kelly tonight,

I'll predict this one in the low 70's coming down to the last few possessions to see who moves on.

You're thinking about conference play too much my man. They are 15-1(loss to Duke) in the non conference and they are very tough to prepare for on 1 day's rest. They play very physical Defense that Florida is not used to (except for Alabama).

I just don't see Tubby's squad giving Florida open looks from 3 and Minnesota is definitely going to out rebound them.

Partric Young has not been assertive and now he has to go against a straight beast down low. The hollins brothers can really play when everyone is on the same page and I think they got their confidence back after beating UCLA by 20.

I think they were just glad to step outside the B1G.

The weak SEC has made Florida look much better than they are, and Minny has been in these grinding type of games all season.

I don't know how anyone can lay 8 w/ a total of only 122...

Of course the Gators have to the talent and shooters to light anyone up, we will see. I can't pass up the +8 here, maybe Vegas is trapping me, but that's why its gambling..

It's a tough game to cap. Florida likes to play a slow down, half court game. Some of Minnesota's ugliest losses have come in these low scoring games. However, I am not sure how the differences in conference play styles will affect this game. Florida certainly seems to play the physical style, defensive minded games similar to that of the Big Ten. But like you say, the SEC and Big Ten are not comparable from a performance standpoint. The SEC was once again pretty weak while the Big Ten was probably the best conference in college basketball. If the Gophers are able to run the court, this could turn into an upset. They were able to do it against UCLA and made it look easy. This game could get interesting.
