My point is that the early leaders get points every game so its not like you are a hungry lion chasing a baby gazelle. Its just that slow safe starters are having to incrementally come back versus storm back. You run out of time when the top teams all get 64, 63, 62, 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, and 56. How many points can you make up when everybody assigns those numbers to the top teams. Net gains of maybe 4 to 5 points at the end.

everyone who put high numbers on top teams will make up the ground on this guy.

Only reason he's ahead is because he put the high number on a team that played right away. After tomorrow, when the first round (yes, this is the real first round) ends, you will see what I mean.

i love those contests as it gives you some indication of how many funded cusotmers they have..granted not everyone plays but gives you some clue..

He may be back tonight. Everyone currently in the top 10 has Gonzaga at 60-64. 60 for witchita st tonight and another win would shake everybody else up.

You kept saying how hard it is to catch anyone, which is not true. It constantly changes.

If you picked all chalk at the end and lost a bunch of first round games, then yeah, you're not catching up.

But an early lead here means almost nothing, which is why I said it was silly that you were praising the guy that gave Wichita State a 60.
