This is a team to keep on eye on if and when they win this game. Butler is simply a team who has not improved. I think LaSalle is the better team on both sides of the ball, and add in that and Butler is on a back to back I think it could be a fairly comfortable win. Also Butler is in the tourney already, if LaSalle wins they should be in barring an egregious act by the committee. Ramon Galloway will be the best player on the floor and he will go off.


Note: LaSalle beat Butler at home on a last second shot, they shot 4-13 from 3, and Galloway was 3-10. that wont happen again.

You are correct, but butler still shot 49% from the field, so it's not like who was replacing him was doing bad. I watched the game, they werent easy looks either. I don't expect Butler to do that today.

Fair enough, Good luck with your play. However, LaSalle is so much better than Dayton, Dayton had no chance to make the tourney unless they won the A10 (They knew that wasn't happening), and now you have to add in the fatigue factor against a run and gun team like LaSalle who needs the win.

I disagree with you on that. But that is not a main reason I think LaSalle wins, I think they are the better team as well. This is the game of the year for LaSalle, not so much for Butler. Say LaSalle gets up 10, Butler, a team who has played within the last 24 hours, and is already in the tourney may mail it in. If LaSalle gets down, they will fight even harder. Just because you want it more doesn't mean you'll win, but to say that doesnt happen is incorrect. Penn State wanted that win a lot more than Michigan yesterday. It could benefit LaSalle, but it could also hurt them because there is a lot more pressure on them to win.

Well said. There are obviously times certain teams care more, but its debatable if those times happen during tournament time in college hoops.

Anyway, I should have said that there's no advantage due to pressure and other factors that may counteract it.
