Top of the 9th, CAN was up plenty of runs and the batter, with the outfield playing deep/double play depth, bunted towards third. The 3B didn't even try to make a play, he just walks up to the ball and visibly says "hit the next guy" and motions with his hand and the ball to his pitcher, in case the immigrant didn't understand English.

CAN batter steps up and the stupid MEX pitcher took 3 tries to finally hit him. When he does, well, reference the video above. After the fight there were two incidents; MEX fan throws water bottle and hits a coach, then another MEX fans throws a baseball and almost hits CAN's 1B coach.

Pathetic showing by MEX and its fans.

A long time ago, Mexico was a proud country inhabited by people with strong family roots and values.

Now Mexico is a 3rd world shithole with the few quality people doing everything they can to leave.

I'm not at all surprised by what happened as the Mexican baseball players are just too stupid to understand the run differential rule.

The Mexican fans throwing objects at the Canadian players was also not surprising.

The WBC should do the right thing and no longer invite Mexico to participate in future tournaments.
