Miami Hurricanes -6.5 @ FSU

I bet against FSU earlier in the year and to me(basketball beginner) they looked bad. No defense..just a weak team.

Miami has Larkin, Scott, Johnson in the center playing well.....

Does Miami continue to roll? Or does a rivalry game end their streak with Nole underdog playing lights out and winning straight up?

Friends say FSU has no defense to stop Canes, canes win by 9/10.

I'm going to look into this, but initial reaction is pound Miami-6.5. FSU is not a tough place to play this year, not far from home for Miami, and Miami is a actually great on the road this season. They're playing great and I don't see this matchup being the hiccup in their acc stretch. I'm a Nole season ticket holder and when I saw this line I thought maybe somebody from Miami was injured/suspended etc.

Every good team we have played this year has kicked the shit out of us big time, and just ignoring the freak part of a home rivalry game - I'd think Miami covers this 8 to 9 out of 10 times.

(7) Apparently the line was set low b/c of the Kadji injury, but reports say that he will play.

I'm not overthinking this one. Miami=hot team, deep bench, big advantage inside. FSU=out of miracles, not much of a home advantage, trouble scoring against even average defenses.

but it's probably the biggest, most public (i.e. square) book in the US. Among all books, there may be games with higher percentages...but I would guess that Miami is taking in the highest volume. You can argue it's not "the #1 bet", but it's still a very very public play.

ive watched every miami game this year ( finally we have a good team, 1st since jack mcclinton) but they are playing the best basketball in the nation as we speak..they are hungry on the boards, they shoot the triple, and they SHARE the ball..they absolutley have been punishing teams lately and are playing out of there minds..when i saw this line at -6.5 i had to do a double take..granted miami can slack on the road @ boston college 69-68 but in all i say miami covers by 3-4 points

The one thing that gets me when I see ppl write about games like this one is this. If you like a team, bet them. That doesn't mean to go bet your rent money on the game. Just the amount that fits your budget. I'm on Mia -6. If they don't cover, they don't cover. I will live to bet another day.
