With 5. Anyone who says he is not moving into elite status or is already there is fooling themselves.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Flacco lead Baltimore to victory this sunday.

Yeah he is definitely a gutsy QB. Just look at the touchdown pass he threw to Torrey Smith right before halftime against Denver.

I was like where the fukk did that come from? lol

It'll be tough this weekend no doubt, but I think they can. New England is a good team but they can be beat.

Winning playoff games doesn't make the dude elite. Watch some of the throws he makes, and you will realize he is not on the level of Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Manning.

Brady is a freak but Brady has lost 2 Super Bowls.

              They can be beat.

His passing ability. His ability to make certain throws. Mark Sanchez will surpass him if he gets to start in NY for a few more years, is he elite?

So you put passing ability over winning?

Cant expect the guy to win every year ... Plus the giants pass rush was insane that year and Brady never even sees that once a year

But anythin can happen look at last week for example

I think the whole country would go into shock if Baltimore pulled out another road playoff win this week in New England.

Which I think is moronic. Is Trent Dilfer as good as Peyton Manning, are they even comparable, no obviously. Just cause someone was stuck running into the 90's Bulls every year so they couldn't win a championship doesn't mean they weren't good.

When I am judging QB's yes. I would say Tim Tebow is probably the 10th-15th QB I would choose for my team, right around where Flacco is probably right now, would I ever call Tebow elite as a QB, fukk no.

I know man im a cowboy fan so i hear it from giant fans all the time .. Lol but if u look at it most "fans" always discuss rings .. Do i think montana was the greatest qb ever? No i don't but that doesnt take away the fact of him being great .. His rings only add on to a legacy

That's just nuts. Comparing Tebow to Flacco?

Not even close. And some of the greatest QBs that ever lived were considered great passers or have great passing ability.

Terry Bradshaw comes to mind. Give me a guy who can go out and win me 4 Super Bowls over Dan Marino any day.

I don't think Marino can make excuses. He stood behind what many consider the greatest center ever, in Dwight Stephenson. He had the greatest 1-2 receiver combination of his era in Clayton and Duper.

His defenses weren't the greatest but they weren't the worst either.

His line outside of his center wasnt that great ... Had no run game .. And his defense was shakey .. Hard to win in those days without a halfway decent defense ..

Now in this time era u need to score 105883 points its a joke

It's funny how football has changed so much since those days.

I think that's why you have to give Brady and New England so much credit. They play in an era where defenses are so complex but yet can get lit for 40 or 50 any at any given time, even the best ones.

They adjusted and have been the best example of winning football in the modern era.

I think that's why you have to give Brady and New England so much credit. They play in an era where defenses are so complex but yet can get lit for 40 or 50 any at any given time, even the best ones.

They adjusted and have been the best example of winning football in the modern era.

when flacco launched the ball into double coverage on the last drive and the d-backs fell down the result was a touchdown-so this equals a great throw because of the result?

Yeah he's got the record. Shows how hard it is to win on the road. He's moving into elite territory if he's not already there. He has started 91 consecutive games. Peyton Manning is the only other QB to start every game in his first 5 seasons. Flacco also has the best streak in NFL history in regards to interceptions having only thrown only 10-12 in each of his first 5 seasons.
