#72I don't doubt it was a highly-bet CBB game -- I just want to see the numbers that the public was on Michigan "large."Comment -

#73Most of the public lost yesterday with Denver, GB and Duke, then the books hit the middle on the morning game today to win big and THEN they finally give you a easy winner with Pats. But many of these winning wagers (on the Pats) were made by people that were down a bunch already and chasing and some probably couldn't even afford a wager after the previous 24 hours of beatdowns. I feel like the books won the weekend by a mile.Comment -

#74LOL.
Lunchbawks is right, outside America no one gives a crap about NFL. The Superbowl might just scrape into the top 10 games/sporting events bet on worldwide. Consider the soccer leagues in Europe (Premier League, Serie A, La Liga etc) tennis, cricket, Hong Kong horse racing, etc.Comment -

I'm not saying the Packers and Seahawks didn't leave a mark on the public, but I don't think they were bet as heavily or as lopsided as most are assuming (at least compared to the Pats, who were the No. 1 play of the weekend).
As for college hoops, I'd say the same thing: I'd be willing to bet both Michigan and Duke were bet at a 60-65% clip money wise, which wouldn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things. Same went for Arizona on Thursday. At least those were the numbers I saw.
Agree the teasers were a disaster yesterday with the Packers and Broncos both going down. I was just commenting about today though -- not the entire weekend.Comment -

#77I don't know, but all of my buddies were hammering the Pats, the over, the Pats/over tease, the Pats TT and a Pats/over parlay -- or variations of all of them.

#83There isn't one though. You have the Serie A final, La Liga final, Premier League final, I doubt any single one is as big as the SB. Tennis are you fukkin kidding? I doubt anything gets bet more than a Nadal/Federer final, and I promise you none of those were close to SB in terms of volume. Cricket could sneak up close, but still doubt it takes over the SB.Comment -

Michigan 79% on ML. And I didn't even mention GB getting beat and GB teasers losing too. Small to medium winning weekend for the books.Comment -

#90Anyone here run a book? If not, where do you get your info on how they did? Please don't say the consensus sites. Do you really think books give a shit about accurately updating them? Some retard in the office like tt half ass fills them in. Numbers I just saw, which are an extremely small sample, show a great Sat and a slightly profitable Sun with atl not covering and sea losing straight up. Pats game wasn't good but there are enough contrarians like lakerboy who bet too much on hou points and ml to lessen hit. Tremendous college hoop weekend for this one particular book as well.Comment -

#91Sooooooo many sharp guys here. They follow line moves, get Billy Walter plays, can spot locks.....How any of them ever lose is beyond me. When they do though, here are some of the excuses: the game was fixed, ref's screwed them, they were on right side of the game, they really had other side...were just doing reverse jinx.
Still trying to figure out how so many sharps keep getting screwed by ossfhore books.Comment -

Local here in Ct. that I talk to often here says most of this players (he has about 80 regulars, about 120 clients if you include semi-regulars) pretty much broke even and lost a little with the juice this weekend.
He said he'll take that every weekend.Comment -

#93easy play ?? if it wasn't for a phantom holding call on a tipped ball at the end of the game, the game ends up a push or the texans score late and cover..........easy plays are when the cover is decided in the 3rd quarter.Comment -

saturday foots and hoops was really good...den killed the big fav teaser(den/ne) and gb killed a lot of 2 game and most the 3/4 game teasers...n.e/over hurt, but sunday was the best cbb hoops sunday so far(even with joes winning the az st. chaser) and will be one of the best of the year...Comment -

#95If the puplic knows something it is one-either false or meant to manipilate your mind a certain way, two-only partially correct. We are talking Vegas here guys. Them being on the up and up? No! The wagering on the superbowl is a top three easy if taking into consideration the hard books which I still use today. We meet at the bar in the morning get the sheets and call or hand him a sheet a paper with your picks. You loose you pay next week or get your ass beat up. lol The squares in offices and bars. People come out of the wood work with money to bet on this game. But Vegas withholding info by far throws those numbers are way off.Comment -

#99regardless of how the spread was covered, as soon as the spread was released I was saying it's a pats cover. Their begging for Houston money at that +9.5....nonetheless, my only play was over 48 @ (-105). Bodog collared me at $500 though....Comment -

Where did I say I had an account at a U.S. restricted book? I play at 5Dimes, SIA, Bodog, etc. Never claimed to have an account anywhere else, but keep up the lies because you're desperate.
I don't even know why I bother to respond to you Pauly, but just keep burying yourself. I'm starting to feel sorry for you.
As for being an SBR Pro, yeah, you're right -- a lot of benefits there. I should go right out and join. Unlike you, I couldn't care less and I'm not desperate to collect points. But here's your daily 2 -- maybe DS can loan you 3 more so that you can have action tonight.Comment -

As Brent said this week, books put out a line that they think will get even action both ways, they let the dumb public trick themselves into trap plays, and it looks to easy, and that lines to low, I'm taking the other side.Comment -

You are points broke and you bet with points. That what it proves. Hell, you even got a points loan from DS for who knows why. Fraud.

at least do your homework on a book the next time you use its numbers in your $20 threads,

with no motive,
I feel sorry for you Coin I really do..............Comment -
