never really thought about this, they really didnt beat any great teams...obviously denver is a strong squad, but when you beat up on the chargers/raiders/chiefs for 6 of your wins it doesnt really say much...

ravens ml... worth a shot. bryant mckinnie moved to left tackle which 50% of flaccos problem was oher being at left tackle. lets not forget flacco outplayed brady in the playoffs on the road... twice.

I actually think Ravens +10 might be a sucker bet, for me it's BAL+330 only. BAL goes down in flames or finds magic.

Thank you! Who the hell has Denver played? They've played against four of the remaining playoff teams and lost to three of them. How is beating a hurting Baltimore and the Chiefs and Raiders supposed to make you some juggernaut of a team? They'd lose this weekend if they were playing Pats/Texans/Falcons/Packers/49ers/Seahawks but because they got Baltimore and their occasionally shaky QB, if they win this one people will talk about how great the team is.

The more I look into this one, I'm liking Flacco more and more. Look at the second half of the season, he's been great besides a couple rough games against PIT, and the 98-yard pick-6 against DEN. Otherwise, he's been as good as any QB in the NFL. Look at his playoff games from last year and this year, if he plays like any one of those games tomorrow, they can win.

Denver will bury the board. Slowly but surely everyone loading up against the Best Defense in the League and Peyton F-in Manning with a stud Offensive Line and great receivers not named Marvin Harrison(Anybody have a clue how much this guy sucked in the playoffs?).

Oh and Denver is at home and the Old Ravens are on short rest....and it appears many on ESPN loving the Ravens...sheesh...

288 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs. Most QBs take that statline any day, especially in the playoffs.

225 yards 1 TD 0 INTs. That was Peyton's last playoff game, a wildcard loss to the Jets 17-16.

I think Baltimore has a chance here, but anybody who saw their previous match-up with Denver knows that the score was kind to them. Game was an absolute blow-out. Denver just tried to run out the clock for the last quarter and a half. Flaco got most of his yards in garbage time.

Slacker did you watch Flacco play last weak? Don't blindly pull out stats, they can often be deceiving. Denver rolls here as Peyton had an extra week to help dismantle the weak ravens D. Ray Lewis is a liability in the middle and the corner play of the ravens is a joke in itself.

True and I agree with most of your analysis. Just want the Baltimore I am used to to show up. Biggest worry is third down. Flaco is usually pretty good at pulling things out of his @ss on third down and Denver is so good on 3rd down. Also Simmons and Berman are both on Baltimore...ugh.

Just saying don't like the odds of both of those guys being right. Not too much stock in Berman at all. When the whole network seems to be on one side, that is when you need to fade. I mentioned this before BCS championship game.

Denver may be over hyped, their win streak and hot play may be due to weak teams and a weak division. They may be overrated....we will see. But that excuse for a home blow out loss holds no water.
