now I know just started the thread on Teo, but this I just dropped a Nickel on the ML after thinking things through.
first, Notre Dame normally gets off to slow offensive starts in the first place, now you add on the the 37 day lay off, the hype of National Championship and than the Alabama defense on the other side of the ball. they very well could be shell shocked for the first half of the quarter and running on pure adrenaline and we all know how that normally goes for athletes.
where as Bama has been here before, Saban has been saying all the right things knows how to prepare his players and put them in the right position for the layoff, where Kelly is still figuring it out and I dont really like the things Kelly has been saying "go out there dont be afraid to make mistakes" lol...dont wanna play wreck less like that against Bama.
I still think this is going to be a close ball game but think Bama defense will shut out ND 1st quarter and should be up 3-0, or 6-0. 7-0 would be great.
