Pats/Dolphins back in '82. A convicted burglar on work release comes out and clears the way for the game winning FG.

Old stadium was a shithole. It was Schafer Stadium, then Sullivan Stadium, then Foxboro Stadium.

Knocked that POS down and built Gillette.

oh man...it was terrible....my father wouldnt take me to a game till i was 6...even then it wasnt many....just so much shit goin down there....fights like crazy....they werent allowed to have monday nighters for awhile...guys climbing utility poles and shit..i think some guy died.....ill tell you what though...place kept noise in better than gillette does.....so many awesome memories at old foxboro in my high school years though...my seats were right by the visitors ramp in sec 112.....i met so many great football players...marino...reggie white...terrell davis....and had some great interactions with guys like kerry collins and andre rison....jimmy johnson

its crazy though...there was nothing to do but cookout and eat in the parking lot...now there are so many awesome places to eat and drink there....even a great steakhouse where alot of players eat after the game

See that road to the left....that was the ONLY way in and out of Foxboro (Route 1). Used to be a real shitshow going to a Patriots game. It has since been widened and has all sorts of business and car dealerships on it.
