I'm not talking about the occasional 2-3 unit play but the 15+ units play on a game. When you think all the odds are in your favor and its a great situation to add a large chunk to your bankroll. Do you watch the entire game watch parts of it or not watch at all? I had an all in play on a soccer game earlier this year and I remember being a nervous wreck during the game. Got bailed out by a 2nd half goal to win the game 1-0 and cash but if given the chance again I would never do it. I watched the entire 90 minutes but I was sweating through the whole thing and I don't think I ever wanna put myself in such a situation again. When you put such a large chunk of your bankroll in a single game what do you do leading up to and during the game?

#7I LOVE the adrenaline rush of having a large amount on a game... To me there are only a few things better
However this is something i cant and dont do very often..
These are bets you must be 100% commited to before pulling the trigger and you have to talk to your self before hand and decide that its going to be okay if you happen to lose.
Losing is not the end of the world. But it sure does suck.
But like the OP said sometimes its better just to be able to relaxComment -

#9I have came to the conclusion though that even though it takes a ton of balls and it can be hard as fukk on your nerves i think going large when you are confident is better than going small or medium on a bunch of plays that you are semi confident
Its amazing how fast you can nickle and dime your bankroll awayComment -

#13On the rare occasion I do have a big bet on a game I struggle to watch it. Usually I just follow it via an app on my phone, drinking certainly helps too.Comment -

#14I though this was going to be a question about live betting, because what I would do is keep my eye on live betting opportunities. You might decide to hedge, your team might be up but what happens if they get a red card?Comment -

#17so we all agree that the game must be watched? I've heard that guys who bet big in Vegas usually will not watch the game however they bet large amounts on a regular basis so they must be used to it and probably don't show much emotion, I am emotionless when it comes to my regular 1 unit plays but for such large wagers its a complete different story. If its an NBA game I don't think I would start watching till the 4th and hope that its a blowout by then. If not sweat it out and hope everything works out. However the only time I would consider a 15-20 unit play on NBA would be playoff time.Comment -

Remember to Watch out for addiction. Dont make it your substitute for a meth injection.
When im watching a big game... ive been it that situation generally by mistake.. like i accidently messed up an arbitrage... and be one side.. i tend to let the balls land where they may.. but when my Balls are on the line... even if i win... it will be a ball busting game.. GuarunteeeedComment -

#21watch first 20-30 mins, if no goal, then turn off. go to flashscore and hope for that goal sound while reading news or whatever. If it goes well for me i watch, if not - turn off. It is really hard to watch all those easy chances get wasted and midfield play when i need a goal...Comment -

#23When I have a big bet on a certain game, I don't watch the game. If my watching the game helps me win my bet, then I would, but it certainly doesn't. Instead, I use my football score alaming application on my cell phone and hope for a goal sound. I don't think I can stand all those scoring chances getting wasted. It's just bad for your health. Losing money is fine, but getting extremely nervous watching the game is not for me.Comment
