cant sbr liquidate betisland assets and pay players?

since sbr is 'accross the street' maybe they can go by and liquidate everything, computers, servers, software, fixtures and fittings?

not gonna be enough to cover everyones balances but maybe they could be distributed proporionately to players depending on the size of their balance

also, not sure if its true but I think I read in a couple of threads that BI owned the premises, maybe that could be sold to pay the players



I know that sbr does not have a legal standing but if players with balances signed permissions as creditors of betislands the local courts would probably enstate sbr as liquidators

nope, by law when creditors (which players are) are not getting paid they have the right to file for the company to go into administration, the courts apoint a liquidator (sbr was a bad example, probably a local law/accounting firm) to liquidate assets and pay creditors off

There are many established forms of declaring bankruptcy in our laws, amongst those are included the application of the very manager or administrator of the company that is in the process of bankruptcy or including a creditor that can prove that the has stopped paying, amongst others, (these being the most common).
