Broncos are 8-4-1 ATS against the opener and 7-6 ATS against the closer.

as a Ravens fan take the Broncos. Caldwell will need at least a week to get adjusted to being offensive coordinator. we will run the ball with Rice more but Flacco cannot keep up with Manning and the ravens D is terrible. Flacco will get sacked alot.

Don't like Woodyard and Kuper inj's but more than compensated by Suggs and Rice on BLT. Numbers on Flacco and Manning over three are surprisingly comparable but I think DEN -3 is fair. Cheers

I'm kind of shocked by the line....prob Denver -1.5 if the Ravens don't blow that Skins game. Denver is better but could be catching Balt at the wrong time. This is the same team that missed the SB last year cause Lee Evans (I think?) couldn't keep a ball he already caught in the endzone. Thing is...its really only a big game if NE loses which is unlikely. NE prob runs the table and might catch Houston if they drop another game. No play here for me now....thought I'd get Denver + something but should've known better.

As for SF @ NE.....tough matchup for the Pats here....kind of like SF +6. They don't see each other and Kaepernick's long strides throw people off that don't realize how fast he is. There's a good chance SF can really gash them with the read option and play action off of that on a short week for NE. Buff just put 31 on them not long ago with the ball in the red zone at the end.

Woodyard will be back and Denver is still working in DJ Williams (last yrs leading tackler) who was suspended for the first 9 games. Stokely is good to go too.

Not sure how Pitt losing at home to SD and Cincy losing at home to the romosexuals = breathing down someones neck? I do hope you're right on SF! The other option for Denver would be to run the table and have Houston drop 2 of Indy, Minnesota, and @ Indy but its not likely.

Ray Lewis expected back, Ellerbe should be back, and Suggs may play. That helps A LOT...
But that Raven Secondary is terrible and Denver D has been playing pretty well.
Just a matter of how the Raven offense reacts to Cameron being fired because we know how Peyton will play.

Focus on the individual matchups pal.

If the Ravens can get pressure on Manning and their secondary is able to play well in coverage and not give up big plays the Ravens win easy.

Big question is do you trust the Ravens pass defense?

The problem is Manning has an excellent pass blocking offensive line.

The only teams that match up well vs the Broncos are teams with a good defensive line and solid corners...

For example if the Broncos had to go play at Seattle they would get their doors blown off.
