The Chiefs lose a player to death, and cover the spread. The following week, after the emotions run out, they get slaughtered.
The Cowboys lose a player to death, and cover the spread. The following week, after the emotions run out, they lose to the....Steelers? This looks like a great bet. Especially with Pittsburgh coming off a loss.

So far 3-0 in the last two weeks on this trend... You could tell it was going to happen with KC, and thought I might as well try it again.

This just in. Aaron Rodgers has just killed half the Packer roster at halftime.

I have it on good info that Rex Ryan has hired some hitmen via foot fetish whore pimps, to kill Sanchez AND Tebow this Thursday.
this emotional high after a death is the NFL version of OPS in Moneyball MLB....... expect cut throat teams to exploit the inefficiency in this market for a year or two

Even more so because Dallas probably would blow that game without any sort of angle. That's the way this team operates. Win in style one week, get your ass handed to you the next.

The groundskeeper doesn't even count. Like the players even know who he was? Just another scrub that mows the lawn.
The only reason Cleveland blew them out was because the Chiefs players were all staring at each other, wondering which one of them was next to start killing.
Same thing will apply next week in Dallas. The adrenaline will have worn off, and the players will be sad and mopey. Pittsburgh will go into Big D and deliver a beatdown. With Pittsburgh coming off a loss, this has the potential for a game of the millennium.

I think timing has played a role in that the deaths were so close to game time. Had it happened on a say Weds or Thurs, I would say guys might have responded a little differently. Spent, sad. Funeral would have been following week, maybe some closure and then they win the next one for him...Seen it got down this way many a time.

I just read up on the groundskeeper. He killed himself last Saturday, and they barely covered against Oakland, and then covered again today.
I'm throwing out the groundskeeper suicide angle, and sticking with players suicides and manslaughters only.
Steelers big next week.

no it was football. lost to iowa state or something.
doesn't matter anyway. if you think three instances are a large enough sample to make any kind of analysis of it, you are not a winning bettor anyway.

Have played this angle for years, follow team after tragedy then fade next game, not saying it's 100% but it has been money for years, call me sick but it has produced winners.
