The idea you cant protect RG3 and keep him effective is ridiculous. Shanahan is a retard. The kids been getting drilled all year. They even had him in a wildcat play this year where they had him out as WR and then they threw him the ball and he gets decked. Shanahan is using old-school mentality when it comes to QB contact and in 2012 thats insane. Who gives a shit if it was bound to happen or not? It's football, you can pull a hamstring on an 80 yard straightaway without being touched. Kid has proven to be a great asset for this Skins team for his rook season. I guarantee he either isn't hurt very bad or he recovers and runs the shit same deal next season or in the playoffs, without a hitch. Kid is money.Comment -

I'm not sure what some of you guys are talking about, but the kid is a pocket passer. He can do both but he passes first because he *can* read defenses. He is nothing like Vick. Only thing the two have in common is their break away speed. Both can take off damn fast and cover a lot of ground. I've watch some Skins games and he is the reason the Skins have turned things around.
He got hurt because the Bal player took a cheap shot. The guy saw RG3 was going down and still felt the need to hit him. It's obvious he did it because the game was close and he wanted to take RG3 out and take away the Skins chances at scoring.Comment -
Oh, and Kirk Cousins was in the redzone when he came in and tied the game up. RG3 got them down to the redzone but decide he couldn't go anymore because of the hit. He took himself out the game.Comment -

Players can get hurt on any play, and even tho i DO AGREE that RG3 needs to better protect himself, this isnt exactly a prime example of it. He made a good play and for whatever reason his leg flew up and into a player (who was probably trying to avoid his helmet).
Get over it, the kids a champ and will be back out there in no time.. I really hope the skins make it to the playoffs, and i dont even like the skins.. but I RESPECT RG3Comment
