The writers and all the Heisman's who vote will be all over his story and what he overcame to lead ND to an undefeated season. Manti has been the heart and soul of this team all year and I don't think this award is all about stats. I don't think they are gonna give it to the frosh and kleins body of work wasn't too impressive. Te'o steals the show tonight.

Anyone who thinks this was a poor Heisman year is nuts. Manti was Charlie Weiss only claim to fame as a recruiter. He was one of only two 5 star linebacker recruits in 2009 and lived up to the hype had a terrific career, he's definitely Heissman worthy,
but Manziel was a human highlight film & deserved the award.

Dual threat QB's are coming back to the fore in college ball. RG3, Tebow, Vince Young
of recent memory & Manziel is the shfitiest of them all as a runner & as a passer certainly surpasses Tebow & Young and is on a par with Griffin.

They even let him try to kick an extra point, which was little over the top but conjures up memories of the great triple threat guys of long ago Charlie Justice & Doak Walker.

Teos own back yard screwed him out of the heisman. He only won indiana ohio and Illinois region by 2 points. Guess thats what happens when all your rivals arw big 10 teams and are to classless to vote for a guy who dominated you on defense.
