They played five games so far. Two games that were road games one against a very good Sand Diego St. team and one against a good Arkansas team who will be beating some good sec schools at home. So how can you only mention the three teams that were cupcakes and say your not a hater? Every team plays these easy schools to start the season and they mix it up a bit with some good games here or there. Cuse just didn't play in a pre-season tourney this year because I don't think they were eligible.Comment -
Well hell yeah. Melo was a cancer on that team, you gonna deny that? He was never the presence he was thought to be. Granted, defensively he was a large help in the middle, but he was never consistent. You're telling me as a fan that you love everyone equally? Almost every year there's one kid who I want to root for, but they continually fukk things up. So far this year, no complaints obviously through minimal games. It's what being a fan is all about. Hell, as an Eagles fan to boot - I've got a laundry list of players on that team that can suck it.Comment -

That's fine, I just like to give kids in college the benefit of the doubt. I do root for all players equally to succeed, some I obviously like more than others. I find Syracuse fans to be extremely negative, so many people hate Scoop even until this day, we have people who have issues with Boeheim. I think we have it pretty damn good as a college basketball program so I find it hard to complain about things but something about Cuse fans, they find a way. These kids go out and work hard and do their best, if that doesn't live up to a fans expectations then oh well. Just my opinion, you can root as you wish. LGO

I loved Scoop. I actually can't think of the last PG I didn't like for the most part. My personal opinion on Melo was that he didn't work very hard. I think he was one of those kids who came out of high school as the BMOC and thought that was going to translate to being a stud in college or good enough to play for a year and go pro. Yeah you're probably right on Melo, his stay here was just a formality before he went to the NBA. I still don't like to hate on him so much because English is his third language and he really didn't play basketball for many years. I will say, he is a bit of an asshole, I met him downtown and he was a prick.
