Your so right. They have been talking about it on national radio too. It doesn't add up. With 5 minutes left he should be saving his players but this would be a but early.

when you're in the second half and down this much and you have it 4th and goal at the 1, you have to go for it

in the first half, if they had it at the 1, I'm sure they would've gone for it as well. But they had it at the 14. Makes more sense to kick the FG.
