Don't think the Falcons lose yet. They are going to light up that D, and almost losing to Dallas isn't that bad imo. Dallas is a solid team that just can't make those couple plays that win a team games. Falcons going 0-2 against the Saints last year will serve as motivation and the Saints should come back down to earth after a MNF game where they got to go against the Eagles O line and terrible D. Only thing worrying me is whether the Falcons front 4 can put pressure on Brees

Consider a few things:

1.) Bob Ryan has whipped the Dallas D into shape of late, and it's the stats (TD's allowed) are tainted by Dallas's turnovers and poor field position of late. Finally, can we stop pretending NO is even close to Dal in terms of talent: http://www.advancednflstats.com/2012...s-week-10.html. Dallas loses every week because their coach is an idiot, and their QB has a complex.

2.) The ATL offense is top 3 in the league, and the numbers don't show how often they convert important 3rds, run the ball well enough to sustain leads, etc. Also I believe the falcons are probably the best team in terms of yards per pass attempt, the defining stat for this era of NFL, in terms of correlation to success. 3.) Atlanta is 6-2 ATS, and 4-0 ATS on the road. Constantly undervalued on the road.

4.) Take a look at the history of the rivalry. We can probably assume this is going to be another high scoring affair. However, ATL's defense has dramatically improved and the Saint's defensive have dramatically worsened this year. If this going to be a shootout, how can you feel comfortable against Ryan, Julio, White, and Hernandez this year?

5.) I know for a fact that these Falcons CARE about their record since breaking the Franchise record for consecutive wins at the start of the season.
