Thoughts on Ole Miss +14 @ Georgia

I kind of like the Rebels here. Always liked the Bulldogs but they seem to come up small in these spots year after year.


Take a look at how the Rebels have fared this year, particularly of late. Win at Arkansas, beat Auburn pretty good, only lost by 3 to Texas A&M who has clearly proven to be a very good team, and hung with Alabama better than anyone has all season.


Last week was such a big win for Georgia. Now they might have the mindset that it's smooth sailing to the SEC Championship game with a fairly weak schedule. I can envision a scenario in which they struggle today and perhaps even get upset.


Would love to get some thoughts on this one.

Mixed feelings here. Ole Miss definitely apprear well coached and to be a hugely improved squad. But even in their win at Ark last week, they were outgained by 100+ yds. I think they have come a long way and are a solid bowl team.

Georgia is easily one of the top 5 most talented teams in the country. They had alot of suspensions on D to start the season. Their D looked soft most of their early games until last week. Honestly think they have all their players back and are finally integrating and playing up to potential on D.

I expect their well balanced Off to put up mid 30's to low 40's for sure. Their talent on D is tremendous several NFL'ers and possibly the best defenser in the country Jones, if they bring the intensity they easily have the talent to win by 20. I made a half unit type play on them at the opener of -13.

Ole Miss +14 is my biggest play of the day. I also love them first half +7.5 and a little on the ML. You got to think UGA will come out flat just like UF did today.

Exactly. I do like this spot for an UGA letdown. The only thing is they seem to roll the second half of every season. But Ole Miss is a lot better than ppl think so I'm down.

I think Georgia has played flat alot this year, even after getting Rambo and Ogletree and others on D back from those 4 game suspensions. Florida was the first time they actually showed up to their full potential.

The only way this game stays close is if they don't show up to full potential. Last year they lost 2 games then steam rolled 10 wins str8 during SEC play. Same thing happens this year, won't lose until the SEC championships. They score high 30's to mid 40's today and win 14-21+.
