#11assumes they both win so win vs a top 10 SEC team compared to a win vs a fraud P12 team. close callComment -

#15If the both win (and I think it's pretty safe to say Oregon has a comfortable lead but for Florida, that's a big if) then no, Oregon does not leapfrog Florida. Oregon is already #2 in the human polls but the computers drop them down to #3 in the BCS. If both teams win, that will be the exact same situation next week. (Yes I know Oregon could get more votes from the human polls, but Florida would strengthen their computer rankings since they're playing a tougher team this week).
It doesn't even really matter. If Oregon wins out, they go to the Championship game.Comment -

#16We here this same shit every year until Oregon plays a team with a legit defense. Oregon's offense was much better last year and we saw what LSU did to it. Hell Auburn who had an okay defense shut them down too. Then don't forget about the Buckeyes shutting them down and Boise State shitting on them while Lagarrete Blount was looking for someone to punch. Any team with a good front 4 and who can tackle in space will shut that shit down. Gimmicky offense that is basically made up of 3 plays.
Remember Oklahoma who was putting up 60+ points a game, was the highest scoring team in the history of CFB. Met an SEC team in the championship game and could only put up 14 points. We've seen this shit too many times before. Defense trumps offense bro.

excuses poured out when the Ducks beat the Vols...we've heard it before from SEC homers, "they're not good this year". Ducks lose by three in the NC and the homers (cheering for a whole conference?!?!) say we got smashed.... sure dude. Ducks have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
pride goeth before the fall.
Every time I read all the excuses about that game I have to watch this.Comment -

Please list the past years champions in order, as well as % of top 10 ranked in the important points of the year and not preseason touts of USC and Oklahoma or Ohio State etc.
Until a champion is dethroned they are still the champions.Comment -

#35Doesn't matter, Oregon shouldn't give two shits about Florida right now.
Oregon is preforming at the level they are expected to preform with their personnel. Florida is over achieving. Everything will work itself out if the Ducks keep winning.Comment
