#11I just followed SBR's instructions to be a pro through a sportsbook. I chose 5dimes and made the necessary deposit. A few days later i became Pro. I went to 5dimes chat and let them know i signed up through SBR and they told me there isn;t any notes on my account regarding any promotion by SBR. He said they would have to contact 5dimes to let them know. I thought SBR already did that since i became Pro. Basically, i just want to know what the rollover is and if there is one for my deposit into 5dimes.Comment -

#13seaweed ,
if you received NO bonus then there should be NO rollover requirements
also , you should have received whatever fee you incurred in sending the $$$Comment -

#16That seems strange because then i'd just be able to deposit $200 to become pro and then once im pro withdraw the 200 right away. I was under the impression that i had to do a 1x rollover risking 200 before i could cash out. Not sure, im very confused.Comment -

#23I know nearly retired career poker dealers who insist that online poker is not worth playing.
Sure you can grind away and make profit, particularly in tournaments but like others have said, the amount of hands is nuts. OF COURSE you're going to have bad beats, weak players call down RIDICULOUS odds and penetrate you all the time. You can't get physical reads on opponents. It's really a waste of money unless you have NO life and don't mind staring at a screen for hours on end. I rather go play $1/$2 live and look INTO the eyes of the a$$hole suck out, and smack him in the face with my MAX re-buy... much more pleasurable.Comment -

now the players/shills are much better for the most part, and if you can't get a bonus there's no way you'll be significantly ahead over the long run with the rake.Comment -

#26Even casinos are beginning to realize they don't want winning poker players taking that money out of their economy. They're moving poker rooms to lower traffic or more difficult to find areas where fish won't just walk away from a big slot or craps win and dump it onto the poker table. If you look closer, they're doing other little subtle things to make it a little more difficult to win. The sites that give back bonuses usually make up for it with some ridiculous roll over requirement combined with increased rake. The state of poker today in the US is sad.Comment -

#27daneblazer that makes a lot of sense re: moving the games so drunks won't throw $300 to another player when they would throw it away on craps or the blackjack table.Comment
