Dual lines, I get it. But really, dual lines should not affect your performance very much if you know what you're doing. To be completely honest I have not had any issues with Heritage at all. They payout, and the customer service is good. Let's face it every book does something to give themselves some sort of an edge.
Why is Heritage taking so much heat?

#11justin, do you really see nothing wrong with two sets of lines? Is this something MGM does? Is this something Pinnacle does?
I'm sorry its just that in my experience the sportsbooks I observe executing this kind of strategy have not traditionally been the most honorable places to commit action.
"But really, dual lines should not affect your performance very much if you know what you're doing."
This sort of market manipulation on behalf of the sportsbook only benefits the sportsbook. Until funds are easy to withdraw and move between sites again this hurts everyone. Some sites have low fees and fast payouts but this does not traditionally seem to be the case with heritage and sadly this also describes most other online sportsbooks.Comment -

2-3 of the people in this thread are regulars in the "Cory(Scammer) thread on Heritage that has 62 pages of posts" so that's why they are bitching about Heritage..they have an agenda. You have to do your own research and read between the lines. I've been playing with them literally since the move from BetJM and I've had NO real issues. Sometimes the CS agents dont know what they are doing, but management has handled it every time and quickly. If they sent me a check and I had issues with it..I understand it happens and I wouldn't be bitching about it in a thread unless they refused to handle it. Some people get their panties in a bundle and come here first.. It doesnt mean that the book is bad..it means they had a problem with ONE PAYOUT VIA CHECK in the course of their account.
You have to worry more about the issues than the complaint threads themselves. Look at what the complaints are about:
1) a scammer tried to hit them for multiple royal flushes that his "mom" played
2)their casino is rigged
3)someone didn't get a bonus ON THEIR DEPOSIT fees (yes this really happened)
4)a check was late/not valid (this happens via almost any book over time)
5)the deal dual lines (from what people are saying)
there is nothing above that should scare you about the book if you're just a normal average bettor. If you partake in any of the above Heritage is not the book for you. I've also been a part of 5Dimes for many years and people bitch about them over and over and over (only legitimate issue is the website being down on busy days that I've had experience with). People love to bitch man and when someone does.. people love to pile on.
I've had the same experience as you..they have been awesome and I haven't had one issue..but then again I don't attempt shady things, I don't attempt to scam them, I accept that there could be payment issues, I don't play in the casino, etc.Comment -

if you are dealt a +/- on a game that SHOULD be a 5, take the +7.

#16This is a Heritage thread, so let me inject this mystery.
I log in, go to the straight bets and see lines. I go to the parlays but don't see anything. I return to the straight bets and don't see anything. The teasers work. It's not the first time this has happened in the past week. I am not a big time player, so it's not like I''m taking much of their money. What is going on?
ETA: Just tried it again with the same result: one look at the straight bets page. So, I try to send a message via messenger but that doesn't work because they want me to select a subject. And there is only "select a subject" on the drop list. Therefore, I can't send the message. I have an email address. Does it work with the .com suffix?Comment -

#23You have to understand it's like anything else in life.. People looooooooooove to bitch. If you look at the first 2 pages here almost every popular book has a bitch thread. Also people will bitch about ANYTHING. Fishhead had an issue with one payment...via check. Now you can find PLENTY of books that had issues regarding checks in the U.S. It's nothing new.. but people who hate a certain book will harp on Heritage's issue with it because they can.

In between those was a bunch of other processors getting snagged, sites closing, gambling sites having funds seized etc. The reputable companies have moved on. It's mostly an industry for criminals now. Many sites that were considered shady before are concerned best now due to the lack of options. Is a couple legit bookies left, but really the industry's leaches have become the most popular brands.
